1. Publisher and contact

This DataPreflight website is published by hydrangea. For privacy questions or requests, use the email address on our Contact page.

2. Browsing this website

This is a static information site. Its published files contain no account registration, contact forms, analytics scripts, advertising scripts or file-upload features. The site code does not set cookies or use browser storage.

The website is prepared for hosting on Cloudflare Pages. When served through Cloudflare, network information such as your IP address and request information may be processed to deliver and protect the site. Hosting-provider processing is separate from the static site code. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for its practices.

3. Email inquiries

If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, your message and any attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond, manage the inquiry and address related privacy or operational requests.

Messages pass through the email services used by you and the recipient. Please send only the information needed for your question. Do not send confidential datasets, passwords, full license keys or payment-card details.

4. Retention and disclosure

Inquiry information is retained only as needed to handle the inquiry, maintain necessary correspondence, resolve disputes or meet applicable record-keeping requirements. A fixed retention period is not specified for every type of inquiry.

We do not sell inquiry information or use it for advertising. Information may be processed by hosting and email providers to deliver their services, or disclosed when required by law. Those providers may process information in countries other than your own.

5. Your requests

You can contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information you have provided, or to raise a privacy concern. We may need enough information to verify that the request concerns you. Requests will be handled subject to applicable law and necessary record retention.

6. Desktop software, activation and purchases

This website does not receive files for data checking and does not process payments or license activations. The planned desktop release requires internet access for activation, with normal use offline afterward.

Before activation or sales open, we will publish the applicable data categories, purposes, service providers and retention details. The current release preparation uses Lemon Squeezy for the planned purchase and license-key service and Cloudflare Workers for the planned activation service. These services are not connected to this website.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the website or product becomes available. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes to active services will be explained when they are introduced.
